Detailed description of Rolling Hills Country Club
Rolling Hills Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Versailles, Missouri.
The course first opened for play in 1956.
Rolling Hills features 6,590 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70 and it has a slope rating of 121.
The signature hole is #17, a 396-yard, par 4. It is a sharp dogleg right that requires a left to right tee shot of about 220 yards to leave you 140 yards to a devilish green protected by a lake short and right, and out of bounds to the left. The verdict is usually split, half the people hate this hole and half the people love this hole. But, everyone remembers the 17th hole

We were there in a drought period and the course was in decent shape. Anything off the fairway was like a rock. The greens were nice. The tee boxes were in need of work. A nice course, with nice people working there. Other golfers were very nice as well. I would return.

This is a fun track -- not overly challenging, but it has a few little quirks that make it entertaining. It's also not that far from the Lake Of The Ozarks, so if you just want to smack a few balls around and not pay a ton of money for some of those fancy courses, this is the place to do it.
